Adolescents, parents, educators, health and corporate professionals face some of society’s most rewarding yet challenging tasks. Multiple demands, mounting workload, limited resources and information overload contribute to a highly stressful environment. Studies show that helping individuals cope with such stress does more than reduce burnout. It allows them to be more energized and effective in their personal settings. Our research-based youth programs and professional development training focus on helping individuals thrive in a face-paced world.
Our educational content weds best practices in mindfulness-based social and emotional learning and is based on developing skills and strategies to address daily challenges. We draw on ideas insights and best practices from renowned experts in the field including internationally respected psychologist Daniel Goleman, who specializes in social and emotional intelligence; Jon Kabat-Zinn, prolific author and founder of mindfulness-based stress reduction; and Peter Block, an international consultant and author on community building and civic engagement.
